So, you gotta love this time of year, and you've gotta love every part of it, too. The hot, hot heat, the mosquitos, the fireflies, the sudden thunderstorms, the overflowing gardens, and THE FARMERS MARKET! I stopped by our local Farmers Market yesterday and these were a few of my finds...fresh peaches and some pickling cumcumbers...YUM!
A few of these actually came from a garden that me and a friend of mine share. Today's plan is to can a few jars of pickles..I'm overflowing with the anticipation of eating these in a few weeks! I'll let you know how they turn out!
