There's this sweet gentleman who bears the heat every summer to sit in the parking lot where I work and sell produce out of the back of his old pickup. One of the signs of summer! I always feel bad because I am usually in too big of a hurry to run over and see what he is selling but last Saturday, it was SO hot, and I thought,"This man is awfully brave to sit in this heat, I outta buy something from him." The daily special, 12 ears of corn for $5. So, I bought 12 ears of corn, the whole way home thinking, "What am I gonna do with a dozen ears of corn?" Better Homes and Gardens July issue somehow made its way into my hands the same day, and would you know that they had a fantastic recipe in this summer issue?!...Blue Ribbon Corn Relish!! Here it is, canned and ready to be gobbled up...any takers?...
