Breakfast Bites

Who doesn't love a Saturday morning?  Better yet, a Saturday morning with nothing planned?!  Breakfast, a messy kitchen, a cup of coffee, and spending most of, if not all of, the day in your PJs.  Fantastic right?  If you ever meet anyone who is opposed to this sort of Saturday loafing, RUN!  And say a little prayer for 'em!

Breakfast Bites

This is a super easy recipe and takes all of 5-10 minutes to throw together.  You can use any meat, bacon, sausage, ham, liver mush (if you like that sort of thing), and so I, but I used ham.

Side note, whenever you have ham left over from the holidays or Sunday dinner, cut it up into small squares and freeze in sandwich bags.  It's great for stuff like this or just to throw into your green beans or pintos.

Ok, so first off, here's what you will need:

4 eggs

1 cup of cooked meat
(chopped ham, bacon, sausage, etc)

1/2 cup of cheese

1 roll of crescent rolls

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and spray or grease a muffin pan.

Unroll the crescent rolls and press all the seems together.

Next, using a pizza cutter, cut the dough into 8 squares.

Pick up each individual square and place into a cup in your muffin pan.

In a bowl, beat together the four eggs.

Add your meat and cheese and mix together.

I also added a dash of basil, some garlic salt, and a little salt and pepper.

Pour the mixture into each of the eight crescent lined muffin cups.

Place in the oven and bake for 30 to 45 minutes.

It may be necessary about 20 minutes in to cover the bites with aluminum foil to keep the tops from burning.

Hope you enjoy!
