1. Make sure you first wash your plate and stand. Make sure they are clean and dry, and then turn your plate over.
2. I told you that you needed a candle holder, decorative bowl, or cup. This is going to be your base for the pedestal. I found a pretty crystal candle stick holder for this particular project. Decide which end you want to be the glued to the plate. When using candle holders, I prefer the larger end to be on the bottom. (With bowls or cups, I tend to turn them upside down. I'll show you some of those later) Once you have decided which end is going to be glued to your plate, take your E6000 and squeeze the glue around the top ring of the candle holder.
3. Once you find the center of your plate, take the candle holder, and glue side down, and firmly press it to the center of the plate.
4. Holding the candle stick to the plate, turn them over. Your plate will now be sitting on the pedestal. You can leave it to dry in the position it is in Step 3, but I like to turn it over so that the weight of the plate will make the glue stick stronger.
5. It's best to allow about 24 hours for the glue to dry. Then you are ready to use this nifty little pedestal to showcase some tasty treats!
