A Cow Head in my Kitchen

I've been noticing lots of ceramic taxidermy hanging around some pretty popular blogs lately.  I'm not a fan of the real thing {taxidermy that is} but these ceramic fellas are pretty cute.  Hang a nice little piece of greenery around there neck and "Wa La"...instant cuteness!

I love the one like Miss Mustard Seed's found here, or Savvy Southern Styles found here, or even the horse that My Sweet Savannah lucked up in finding here.

So, when I was browsing at our local antique market and found this little guy laying in a chair half covered up by some fabric and a pillow, I knew he was going home with me. 

The orange eyes were a bit creepy, so I mixed up some gray paint and just painted over them.

I didn't leave this guy hanging on the wall, sadly enough.  I was afraid someone may walk by and knock him down.  

Instead I made his home on our bulletin board.  What do you think?
